Creating the K3 Design for KFC drive through and dining experiences the aim was to look at new servicing systems and designs that would integrate digital kiosks and open counter pick up. Equally - it was important that we consider the experience of the team working there to be equal to that of the customers. From this we approached how could remove as many of the physical barriers between employees and customers, elevating the kitchen from BOH to centre stage. A core part of this work was the viewpoints into the kitchen and drive through - how could the team work there for their shifts and feel like they were not boxed in.
