India is a 7th largest country in the world by area and 2nd most populous country in the world. In Inda 29 states and 9 union territories. India has more than 3, 287, 240 sq. km land. India’s few states are individually larger than some of the countries like Greece, Uganda, Oman, Senegal, and Australia. All states of India own culture, tradition, beauty and signature.

More than one billion people are living in the Indian States. Hindi is considered as the national language of India, and most of the north Indian states uses Hindi, but other states have their own languages. In India, all states are different like hot states Rajasthan, snow-covered states Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh.

A clean state Sikkim, rich states Gujarat, Rajasthan and Odisha, advanced cities Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai. UP, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, etc. are important agricultural producers and heart of foreigners- Goa.

2. Madhya Pradesh


Madhya Pradesh called the heart of India, and It is the second-largest state in India by area. Madhya Pradesh is one of the most beautiful states in the whole country. Madhya Pradesh is full of mineral resources and reserves of diamond and copper. Madhya Pradesh has the largest no of tigers in India.

Madhya Pradesh is 5th largest state in India by population with 7.25 crore people residents. Madhya Pradesh has many historical places and caves for visitors. 3. Maharastra


Maharashtra is a 3rd largest state in India by area and 2nd largest state in India by population. Maharasthra located in the western part of India. It is the soul of India. Maharashtra is the most developed state in India and the wealthiest by GDP. Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra, and which is known as the “city of dreams”.
In Maharashtra, Pune is known as “Oxford of East”, and Nashik is known as “Wine Capital of India”.
Maharashtra has two rivers Godavari and Krishna. Maharashtra has places like the Gateway of India and many other caves, many beaches.

4. Uttar Pradesh


Uttar Pradesh secures the fourth rank in the list of the largest state in India by area and 1st largest state in India by Population. Uttar Pradesh is rich in natural resources and diverse flora and fauna.
Uttar Pradesh has two rivers, Yamuna and Gangs and other prominent rivers are Saryu and Gomti.
Uttar Pradesh is quite popular for sugar production, which is half of the total sugarcane produced in the country. Also, they earn revenue through service sectors.

Uttar Pradesh has two International airports, Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport in Varanasi and Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport in Lucknow.

In Uttar Pradesh, Taj Mahal attracts a number of people from all around the world and opens for tourism.

Gujarat is the fifth-largest state in India by area which is located in the north-western part of India. Gujarat is only home of great Asiatic Lions in the world, in and around Gir National Park.
Gujarat is the ninth-largest state in India by population. Gujarat stands 3rd largest in GDP of 15.02 lac cr.
Gujarat considered as one of the most industrially developed states, and it has low unemployment. It is a manufacturing hub, and Lothal is world’s one of the seaports.

Karnataka secured the sixth position in the list of the largest state in India by area and eighth-largest state in India by population. Karnataka is the south-west area in India.
Karnataka is one of the largest tourist attractions in the country. Its capital Bangalore is known as the IT capital of India and places like Mysore Palace is a good tourist destination.
Karnataka is one of the most technologically advanced states of India. Karnataka is the largest state in South India.

Andhra Pradesh is known as “The Rice Bowl of India”, and it is the land world-famous of “Kohi Noor”. The Telugu language is spoken in Andhra Pradesh and fourth most spoken language in India.
