Life in Japan Guidebook

Moving to Japan as an international student can be very daunting, as there is limited information on simple everyday tasks in English. Together with Ashinaga, I wrote and designed a 120-page guidebook on getting started in Japan in collaboration with Panna Nyeste. The guidebook covers everything from getting a bank account, how to get the train, how to get contraceptives, onsen etiquette, what holidays are celebrated, how to use chopsticks, to what kind of food can you buy in a conbini. Each spread was meticulously planned with accompanying illustrations that followed typical Japanese guidebook aesthetic, even including Japanese phrasings throughout for each topic.
