The creation and production of the Norwegian edition of Little Black Book by Otegha Uwagba was a wonderful process spurred on by the content of the book itself, which provides inspiration and information for women working within the creative industries.
From rights acquisition and translation through to printing and distribution it was both a matter of being solely responsible for getting to the finishing line, as well as a collaborative endevour while employing proof reader, graphic designer and typesetter, as well as working with printers and distributors, and finally presenting for and selling to book shops.
The end result is Liten svart bok being displayed in big and small book shops across the country, being included on what is called a central campaign (ie high visibility) with one of Norway's major book chains, the book making the rounds on social media and being featured in both local and national newspapers and magazines.
