LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL 2017: RUBBISH CHAIRS WORKSHOP

At Old Spitalfields Market for London Design Festival, I ran a workshop in which I invited members of the public to reimagine found-objects that were taken from the streets and surrounding area into chairs. I collected discarded objects from the surrounding area and helped curious members of the public in joining them together to make chairs. It’s a bit like sketching in 3D, making these unique objects helps the participants to think outside the box separating the individual components for their properties instead of their normal application. Rubbish Chairs are curious and as a result of the curiosity comes something new. See more at samuellloydmorris.com
