Lost & Forgotten Number Systems

This ISTD brief 'The significance of Numbers' aimed to make numbers exciting. I chose to produce a piece based on lost & forgotten number systems showcasing their unique forms and narrative behind them from around the world as well as varying times in history. I designed a large-format book to do justice to the unique number forms. The goals of this project were to communicate the unique and unusual narratives behind the formation of particular number forms and present to the audience the forms while being informative. The audience will appreciate the physical forms of numbers which are otherwise unknown to them.
