In 2011 Cycle-You decided to launch a high end ‘custom carbon fibre’ road bike. They asked me to design a graphic identity that allowed clients to create their own ‘one of a kind’ dream bike, whilst also creating a distinctive brand. This was achieved by using a grid based system to divide the frame into sections that could be coloured to create a unique pattern for each bike. A variation of the subtle graphics has now been adopted by the higher volume sister brand, Mees.
