Margate Visual Identity

As a place where I grew up I felt that Margate needed a new image. Within the last few years there have been re-developments in the area and money has been invested into the seaside town. Attractions such as the Turner Contemporary have played a major part in the rise of tourism in the old seaside resort. As the place has been described as one of the top 10 up and coming areas to live in the UK I thought that a new visual identity would help show this and also help the tourist industry within the town. The project which I have proposed is a visual identity which includes a logo mark and icon set (landmark and environmental).

To consolidate all of my work I decided to create a brand guidelines book, to showcase everything which I had created.
