An ongoing series of self-portraits born out of my residency at Hospitalfield in Arbroath, Scotland, in April/May 2011.
The series originally grew out of experimentation with movement and stillness as a way of conveying internal conflict, frustration and pressure.
The series is a visual representation of grappling with the self, and the internal arguments that constantly take place within an overactive mind.
