A UI design created whilst on my internship with Modernfamilies. The apps purpose was to serve elderly users with a means of keeping updated on their relatives lives via a bespoke social media service.
There were certain design choices to keep in mind whilst producing the UI such as legibility and user interaction. The specification allowed two modes of the app for two different user types, active (young users/phone) and passive (elderly users/tablet) Feedback confirmed that users were fans of the app redesign and considered it easier to use and an improvement over the last iteration.
