Brief requiring to design promotional book covers and posters for Monotype, a font and technology specialist. Four covers illustrating four font families ( Sans Serif, Serif, Slab Serif and Modern) were created to advertise famous typography speakers and their specialities in the area, as well as a poster informing of events and talks on typefaces.
After carefully considering previous Monotype exhibition tendencies, I designed in black and white with high contrast of type hierarchy. The aim was emphasise type itself, using embossing and texture to highlight or hide text.
