Alexandra Vacaroiu’s participatory project revolves around objects and items of clothing that trigger specific memories. Participants were asked to take photographs of these items on disposable cameras, revealing the stories behind them in interviews. The last stage of the project consists of a short experimental film recreating memories that were never photographed. The project is a pilot exploring how photography can be used with patients living with Alzheimer's disease and its beneficial effects on memory.
