A day in New York. Unfortunately that day didn’t turn out how i had hoped. It was non stop rain which gave me very little opportunity to get the camera out and those grey skies were a nightmare for exposure. But wondering around those famous streets and buildings was incredible and the dull weather added an extra atmosphere to the whole place. "One can't paint New York as it is, but rather as it is felt.” This quote by artist Georgia O’Keeffe sums it up for me. As a result I didn’t have a lot of footage, no structure, no story-but I wanted to put something together to challenge myself and also to make sure this memory wasn’t just rotting on the hard drive like lots of other forgotten projects.
