Omar'en is a board game in which you venture into the wilds of the holy lands of Omar and cooperate with your friends in order to defeat your opponents.
Omar'en was also my thesis.
You can choose a certain hero which you control. You choose his/her race, profession and name.
There are two different rulebooks. One for the Players and one for the Storyteller.
This board game's main strength is it's board. Simple yet complex. Each area creates different effects which will make the players suffer, unless they help each other of course.
The three levels always change (even midplay) making sure the gameplay is not repeatable.
Each player and monster, which the Storyteller controls, belongs to a different class.
The classes have a paper-rock-scissor relationship between them making each class valuable.
Each class has its weaknesses and strengths.
You can choose from 6 different sub-classes to create your own warrior and give birth to colorful solutions to the problems your opponents will bring upon you.
Each class has it's own talent trees to choose from.
The board game is also paired with Omar'en maps which could help the storyteller create his/her own story to give flavor to the player's combat.
