Patterns of Weathering is the process of rotting wood, rusting metal, organic change and their impact on colour, contrast and textures are the focus of this collection. Compositions and collage are translated as digital and screen printed images incorporating layers of bonded and broken surfaces. Silk organza and light, transparent cloths are overlaid with solid materials, pigments and foils, building surfaces and playing with light. The collections bring the outside in, from the natural landscape and the man-made structures of architecture into large-scale placement prints for fashion.
