The inventor of the plastic bag wanted to save the environment by decreasing deforestation to create paper bags. His aim was to create a more resistant bag that could have been reused over and over again. Unfortunately, after the introduction of plastic bags in supermarkets, their use has been misinterpretated and most of the times are used as disposable products. During this COVID-19 period I have been pondering on this problem and also the world seems to have been sensitized to it, especially in recent years. I played with brands, associating luxury brands with mass consumer brands, thus elevating plastic bags from a worthless product to an aspirational product.
