Many people take great comfort in the bathroom towels being the same color as the soap, toilet paper, and tiles. It means there is a connection between them, and an environment of order. Home is a place not only of comfort, but of control. This sense of order, in whatever form it takes, acts as a shield against the unpredictability and lurking chaos of the outside world. And completely fit into this category of people. My work is a celebration of the ordinary in the disorderly. I examine different forms, colors, textures and materials and I reconnect them in a disruptive way - with the idea that there is an under level of order behind it. A master common denominators among them all. Everything is interconnected. I cut everything which is made of paper, from everything that the majority of people would leave behind. I do alter them is a way of questioning the attitudes, fears and unwritten rules which have formed that environment and our behaviour within it. With my disorderly state-of-art I want to help people to depart from those conventions and unlock their more divergent thinking by inspiring them to break free of traditions. All my material is recycled. With every singe piece of my art I make a the decision to positively impact the planet. Every purchase you make is a vote for the kind of world you want to live in. With my art I reduce my footprint. And a buyer will do exactly the same, by promoting a Zerowaste philosophy.
