Protect Your Community

  • Robyn Janine

Love + solidarity to all survivors of abuse. This week has been tough for many reasons but something that’s felt like a positive beacon is: not only people feeling brave enough to share their experiences but seeing so much widespread support and resource sharing. While social media often feels like a detached abyss filled with anonymous users, you are part of a network and community of people who see you and can be seen. It is our job to take preventative action by sharing knowledge that can protect people. Whilst it doesn’t have to be public, use your networks to stay safe and never fear reaching out to people. Knowledge is power ⚡️ I’ll be talking more about restorative justice and how we as a community can work towards fortifying our structures of care, without the police, but for now if it’s something you’ve been thinking about too - let me know your thoughts! www.instagram.com/robynjanine_
