UNIVERSITY PROJECT FOR CAMPAIGN & STRATEGY SUBJECT

'From minority to major player' - project introduced by BEAR - Brand Communications Agency in London. The idea was to engage more people to play or watch the sport which is not very popular or does have a weak reputation.

We were given golf as a sport. We realized that golf is a very social sport and it is much more fun to play with your mates. But with today’s heritage of only elder white men practising the sport, millennials do not have any interest to play with 50 years old chaps. They want to play in a more relaxed and flexible environment with like-minded peers where they can feel free to express themselves. So, if millennials would find somebody they would enjoy to play with, they would also enjoy playing golf more.

BRIEF: How to attract more millennials to play golf?
INSIGHT: Golf is more fun if you have a mate to play with.

IDEA: Tinder, but for golf.

When you download the app, you create a profile setting up your handicap, preferences, age and location. It shows your scores, prizes and other players' impressions from playing with you.

It allows you to pair up through the iPAR With screen. It shows you every player, however you can choose by location, gender, skill, time, etc. You can also chat with other players in order to agree on time and location, share your experiences and always stay connected.
