Reflections

  • Samantha Gandin
The artwork represents a woman immersed in the water, the fusion between waves and body become the significance of “reflections” that are both the once of the water and the thoughts that are consuming the subject. Red drops cross the artwork, which can be the rain that flows on a window where the observers are looking out to the scene, or tears that fall from their own eyes. So the canvas substitutes the look, it absorbs the feelings and drives a deeper connections between the artwork and the public.
