Room 2115

The photographs were taken during a visit to Brussels earlier this year. I was drawn to the view through my hotel window, the fixed mesh screen created a distorted view of the outside world, abstract and almost incoherent yet still recognisable. I used the screen as a filter, slowly moving the camera closer or further away to create the desired effect.
