Roots by Stephanie Anjo

My latest collaboration with the amazing illustrator, designer and animator - Stephanie Anjo! Description of the short film: ‘Roots’ explores themes of home, displacement and cultural identity through the process of interweaving personal memory and animation. It coalesces fragments of conversations I’ve recorded with my mother as an attempt to understand more about my parent's culture and addressing questions I have increasingly become intrigued by as I have got older.
