RUN IT OUT - Feature Documentary

  • Natalie Wetherell
‘Run It Out’ is a feature length documentary about Robin Arzon. The film tells one woman’s story of following your dreams; of not allowing the past to ruin your present or your future. It is about having the strength and confidence to make a change; and that change can be as simple as putting on a pair of running shoes and taking to the streets.

I came on board as Executive and Post Producer in January 2015. Working with Director Tara Darby to raise funds to complete the film as well as managing the budget and time line.

Between us we recruited a fantastic team including Editor Mark Whelan, Animator Shaun Clark, Colourist Lewis Crossfield and many others.

We then went on to raise £15k through Kickstarter to allow us to finish the film to the highest possible level (Kickstarter covered the Edit, Music Composition, Animation Sequence, Sound and Post production.)

Raising funds through Kickstarter was an interesting experience - complex but rewarding, it is very much a case of you get out what you put in. Through this we did not only raise the funds required but also developed a strong network of supporters the world over, through development of social networks and support of key publications.

We are just coming to the end of the process and hope to have the film finished by the end of 2016.
