This was a targeted campaign for end users aimed at increasing sales and engagement of ScanSnap mobile scanners. The premise of the campaign was to send a communication to customers who had previously bought a ScanSnap scanner which included a code that would enable them or an individual that they chose to share the offer with to receive 25€ off the purchase of up to two qualifying ScanSnap scanners. This was a fairly time sensitive campaign with customers having a limited time period to make the most of the promotion and this was reflected in the decision to use a different, less reserved creative route than what was generally deployed for ScanSnap communications - an animated crocodile and the tagline of ‘ScanSnapitup’ which delivered some great results. The promotion also helped to address a genuine appetite in the market as the ScanSnap portfolio of scanners are well suited to the changing shift towards remote working and scanning in a variety of new and challenging workplace environments. Ultimately, the promotion creative and content was well received by both the client and customer and has opened the door for new and exciting potential ways for PFU to engage with end users through the ScanSnap brand.
