Scent Bot — A wireless, multi-scent dispenser controlled by your mobile device.

What is it? Think of this as a printer for scents that’s fully customizable and interactive. It could house multiple complimentary scents so that the user can create their own scent profile. Save it and share it. Use multiple units in the home to create different “scent zones throughout.”

How it works? Activate remotely in real time or schedule scent notifications. These notifications are scent queues to remind you of special events chores, or even sync up for social alerts such as receiving as receiving an email, someone “liking” your status, etc.

Basically all I had to do is to create something appealing. I had to think what this device could look like. So what I did after that was to get into Cinema 4D and start rendering some ideas. While doing that, I was also thinking what the package and the cartridge could look like. In that time you think of something that could have a base to recharge itself, You are thinking into something with a small circuit board and blueTooth connectivitty . And the base some how will be fed by electricity into the device to give it life.

I was also surrounded by Nest and Apple TV, living the beginning of a digital life constantly disrupted by a notification. But you have to stay focused.

The device has to have space for a fan that and a set of four cartridges. The top of the device has to have spaces in form of spores where the fan uses to blow the air out.
Each tray will have a cover, this cover is removed when the device is open. To acces the fan slide cartirdge base out.
This project was created while I was at POSSIBLE in 2012. Was in that time when we were exploring how devices were communicating between each other.
