Founded by The Incorporation of Goldsmiths of the City of Edinburgh – the oldest consumer protection organisation in Scotland – the work of the Trust focuses on promoting and supporting the education, art and craft of Scotland’s gold & silversmithing heritage and trade. In recent years their work has expanded through the creation of Ethical Making, a programme to support the adoption of responsible and sustainable practices in jewellery and silversmithing.
