#001 in the *•rebr4nd•* collection. acrylic on canvas 16x23.5 inches ‘*•rebr4nd•*’ - an opportunity to begin again, to create the life we imagined as children. to let go of a past version of yourself with grace. you’re allowed to change and grow, you don’t need to shelter yourself just to conform. This was a very personal project of mine; I'd just left university, left my job and felt so confused. For the longest time I stopped painting as I've never believed I could get far with it, however seeing how fulfilling a creative lifestyle can be I decided I wanted to pursue that. So I completed my first painting since 2019 in June 2024. I wanted to incorporate a LOT of colour to convey the immense amount of emotion I've felt these last 5 years. I finally feel more content with the life I want to lead and that feeling of relief amongst all the other emotions was something I wanted to portray.
