Ester Alonso, will be exhibiting her latest home print collection at Leeds Arts University Degree Show from the 9th to the 14th of June and at New Designers on the 28th, 29th and 30th of June 2018.
Inspired by the urban environment, Silent Shapes includes a range of natural organic cottons and wallpapers. Soft, textured geometrics are translated onto cloth through natural dyes, screen-printing, laser-cut, layering and embroidery creating a tactile collection with a feel of raw minimalism and craftsmanship.
Ester Alonso is a Print & Surface Designer from Madrid, Spain. Her work is driven by colour, minimal aesthetics, and a love for textures and collage. She is a designer committed with the environment, for her work she combines responsibly source materials (organic, fairtrade, upcycled) with low impact processes
