Skulls | 3D Art + 3D Material Creation

Skulls is a series of artworks created from an exploration into converting real life physical brush/paint strokes from an oil painting into a 3D material, then playing with different surface qualities. 3D PBR/textures were created using Substance Alchemist, Blender for modeling, Adobe Dimension for lighting and rendering. For this personal project I took the default banana model in Adobe Dimension and applied a custom made 3D material/texture (Substance Alchemist and Painter) to the surface to give it a metallic, abstract finish.
