Smash Hits came back for one day only for the West End debut of &Juliet, a brand new musical made up of Max Martin produced hits. The one off issue was a brand to hand marketing campaign that was given out at major London Underground stations, and resulted in avid fans of the original publication to ask to buy copies on social media. The design of the 2019 special issue paid homage to the 90s era where design was energetic and in your face with multiple font use and bold colours. To marry this up to &Juliet I used the brand colours which made for a vibrant design.
