Southbank Centre’s REFRAME: THE RESIDENCY

In 2023 I was selected to be a part of the inaugural cohort of Southbank's Reframe; The Residency which is a residency for artists from black and mixed backgrounds. The project was a collaboration between the Southbank Centre and Apple. In our groups, we were assigned to produce a multi-screen installation piece for the unveiling of a new exhibition space within the Hayward Gallery. Our piece was called ‘SCAPE’ which explores the themes of an ever changing landscape, from living off the fat of the land to being reliant on corporations to provide for us, while they plunder the earth for all of its resources.
