"Nodo" Final Commission work 2014
Stool for interiors Brings together simplicity of structure and the humorous use of left-over felt as upholstery. The structure chosen is intentionally as simple as possible to achieve the aesthetic emphasis of the felt used.
The legs are slid into each other cross-wise into a pre-milled hole and embedded in a v-joint in the seat. Screws in the seat prevent the legs from falling out involuntarily. The felt is secured by simply poking through a hole of a diameter of 20 mm in the 15-mm thick birch plywood. The upholstery is therefore easy to clean. Left-over felt is again used instead of a furniture glider.
