Summer Uni at Hanwell Zoo

I was employed by Ealing youth offending team to engage upto 7 young people over 3 weeks in the summer of 2018. We had a residency at a local Zoo and was asked to create some art to sit within the zoo. Over the 3 weeks we were able to learn about signage and basic graffitti principles to bring to the Zoo. We also went on a trip to the Southbank on the Thames to see public art in public spaces. We are currently seeing alot of public spaces be sold to private sectors so many places for young people have gone. I think its important young people have a voice and wanted to share my journey of Art and legal graffitti to mirror this.
