Being from a foreign background myself, I have been more intrigued to explore different cultures. Having been bought up with a lot of family values and traditions, it has interested me in finding out about other cultures and their cultural values and traditions. 'The colours of Japan' explores Japanese culture because it's such a distinctive culture that holds many unique traditions and is full of colour and pattern with a meaning.
