Tamil display lettering inspired from F37 Bella, designed by Rick Banks. Tamil is a language mostly spoken in Tamil Nadu, one of the illustrious states of India. Known as one of the oldest languages to exist, Tamil script is complexly aesthetic. Most of the existing Tamil typefaces are primarily designed keeping readability as priority. My intention was to create a Tamil display typeface inspired from the English type, Bella, trying to incorporate the style and the contrast that stands out in Bella.
