This temporary tattoo is taken from a traditional Dutch still life painting by De Heem. This tattoo can be cut up by the user to suit different parts of the body, they can participate in a kind of tattoo flower arranging.
The tattoo was commissioned by the RIjks museum to showcase their new online catalogue; a new resource featuring the entire museum archive in high-res. The idea is that these images can be used by the public to make new creations. Droog was asked by the museum to create something contemporary that could show the potential of this new resource.
