I was asked to write a film to accompany a lecture given at Oxford University on the subject of Artificial Intelligence.
I was not given much more information than that so ran wild with the concept. I thought about why we seek artificial intelligence, from there, why we seek intelligence - or knowledge.
I decided the reason for our obsession with understanding is due to our basic instinct for exploration and discovery.
And, when I think mysterious frontier, I think of space. So I had my film.
