The Good Idea Guide

With over 4,000 ideas launched, and counting, we'd like to think we are the experts in what a good idea looks like on Appear Here.
Our community is made up of brands, entrepreneurs and creatives who craft unique ideas for our leading list of landlords. You’ve got to give your best to stand out from the crowd and we’re here to help.
SELL YOUR IDEA
In order to get a quick response from the landlord, give as much information about your idea when applying for a space. Describe what you do, what makes your brand unique and other pop-ups or events you’ve done. Get inspired by some of our favorite stories here.
MAKE IT VISUAL
The landlord needs to be able to quickly visualize your idea within the space, so give them your best angle. Include links to your website, social media accounts and attach photos of your products and logo and brand images. Have that set? Start your idea now.
INDUSTRY SPECIFIC
Tailor your idea submission to your industry type. If you’re selling food, include a branded sample menu and discuss what equipment you have. If you’re a fashion brand, look books and price points can go a long way.

HOSTING EVENTS
If you’re holding an event, the landlord will want to know the timing of your event, music and catering plans and number of attendees for licensing reasons. It’s also useful to mention whether or not the event is in partnership with another brand.

LOOK AND FEEL
Landlords will be curious about your fit out and the changes you plan on making to the space. The look and feel section is for stating if you’ll be bringing any equipment, building any structures, painting walls or drilling holes.
BRAND NEW BUSINESS?
Absolutely fine. Attach a business plan or CV and initial branding designs so that the landlords know you’re ready to launch your idea right away.
