The Joan Project

Concept Create a word mark that reflects the ethos of The Joan Project as well as the garments themselves. Strategy Each item is crafted by hand, so it was fitting to create a word mark in the same fashion (pun intended) “...we believe that a garment is only as good as the fabrics and hands used to make it”. The garments have a ‘simple and timeless aesthetic’ and I translated this by writing simple, clean letter forms that still contain their own character. Photography by Tomas Bajoriunas
