Aimed for those who resonate with the struggle of coping in unpredictable times, this project provides an escape for those experiencing a loss of freedom, lack of ability to cope with problems and feeling powerless. I wanted to make expressive art for those like me who just wanted an outlet for freedom, to feel like themselves again, feel like they have control over their lives, hence the name “The Positivity Project.” This project is colourful, bright and bold and I use oil-like flicked brush strokes painting places and subjects in my life that brought me happiness during a dark time in the world. With artistic influences from Matisse and design inspiration from Anthropologie, the Positivity Project is an interiors and furniture collection. ALL IMAGES COPYRIGHT TO ME.
