The Public Records

In 2016 we gave visitors to the exhibition the chance to make their own vinyl masterpiece in one-take. Sonos Studios was built as a acoustically tuneable space so in partnership we dreamt up this unique experience to show that off. Over the course of the show we recorded an array of performances; including musical, spoken word and noise. We took bookings from professional musicians like Slow Club and Hot Chip, right through to a big group of lads on a stag doo. All of which we broadcasted to an audience gathered outside the recording booth.
