Tour Eiffel

- Book project - Fairy tales and towers are a part of childhood. The Eiffel Tower has a magnetic presence, which captivates. While looking at the tower from the hill of Montmartre, I wondered about the people who shared its view all over Paris, and this planted the seed of the project. Diversity makes a city, each room is like one of the cast in a play, playing its part in the story, with the fairy tale tower always in view, as if from a children’s book. The rooms narrate the story of their residents, painting a picture, of the characters which inhabit its space, all the while looking further to the tower beyond. Architecture is much more than a one dimensional function, and the Tour Eiffel is much more than a tower. Life is better when you allow some fantasy into it, the tower allows it, wills it. - The project looks at over 40 views of the Eiffel Tower -
