Trainman

  • Olivia Boult
Trainman is an original play, written by myself and was performed in November 2016 at the University of the West of England. It was written to try and challenge the stigma that surrounds mental health within our society.
'Edward Phillips has become obsessed with success. He is determined and proud and he stands by his decisions, however hard that might be. But sometimes, he needs a little push in the right direction and when he meets Noah Ralph on the last train home, his eyes are opened to a whole new way of living. Could it be that he has lost sight of what really matters? A story of family, friendship and hope; found in the places you least expect it.'
