Transparent Virtual Reality Experience

  • James Harris
Transparent is a virtual reality project that I’ve recently developed. It allows a user to experience the day in the life of someone that’s homeless in the city of Lincoln. It stemmed from a project called adaptive spaces. During the initial research stages I thought about how I had adapted to my space in Lincoln during my time here as a student. I’ve noticed a sufficient increase in homelessness over the last 4 years. Developing the project further I contacted a local homeless charity to further my knowledge on the situation that seems to be climbing by the day. The aim of my project is promote a positive change, trying to break the stigma surrounding homelessness in an emotive, dynamic way.
