Use Your Vote

Our latest project looks at ways in which we can encourage more people to use their vote. I’ve found this project to be really enjoyable, partly due to the election taking place while the project was ongoing, but also because I’ve had an interest in the way that politics are presented to the general public the debates especially, I find very interesting.
So for this project we’ve needed to think of ways to encourage everyone to use their vote so that the results of the election will be more accurate and representative of the wants of the public. For my campaign I’ve decided that I want to look at the idea of a persons vote being their voice and to not use your vote means that you are self-censoring. I’m looking at different ways in which I can demonstrate this idea visually, whether I show it using a ballot style cross, a censor bar or tape.
