- Museum - ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS – ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM We were thrilled to be asked to create an astonishing promotional film to launch the Royal Academy exhibition of the year Abstract Expressionism. The remarkable show is a successful reunion for provocative and exciting artists, who haven’t been exhibited together since 1959. Creativity was key to overcoming the challenge of producing a a film without revealing any of the artworks on display at the gallery. Our inspiration came from Jackson Pollock, the most well-known Abstract Expressionist painter. Simulating in CG his famous ‘drip painting’ style, colourful and intense paint is poured onto canvases that show the name of the artists who were part of an unparalleled period in American Art. The piece has its rhythm set by a lively soundtrack. The content itself expresses the dynamism found in radical creations of major figures, works that represented an evolution of 20th-century art. FGreat Team Creative Director - Conrado Gaves e Felipe Frizon Art Director - Felipe Frizon Story Board - Felipe Frizon Lead Animator - Leo Fonseca VFX. Final Comp - Eduardo Armdbrust THE BRITISH MUSEUM – SOUTH AFRICA THE ART OF A NATION We added to our vast museums and art institutions portfolio a vivid 1-minute film promoting the Victoria and Albert Museum major exhibition You Say You Want a Revolution? Records and Rebels 1966-1970, 5 years that changed the way we live and still have a huge impact on modern life. The idea was to showcase part of the high volume of material included in the show- encompassing photography, music, outfits and more – in a fast-paced and dynamic way, exploring the historical context. The use of kaleidoscopic art presents a whirl of information that has surrounded the late 1960’s, touching on music, film, fashion, design, civil rights, consumerism and performance. FGreat Team Creative Director - Conrado Gaves e Felipe Frizon Art Director - Felipe Frizon Story Board and Illustration - Felipe Frizon Lead Animator and 3D Render - Leo Fonseca 2d Animation - Felipe Frizon
