Vegetable Block Printing - Community Workshop - ARTification

I developed this free community workshop through ARTification for their monthly 'plant + art' market at North Acton Pavilion. The purpose of this activity was to share accessible artmaking ideas with the community. For the project, I demonstrated how to block print with potatoes, old bedsheets, and acrylic paints. I encouraged artmakers to be playful and have fun - even “mess up” a little. That is what makes your design personal. Keep it simple or create an elaborate pattern. I encouraged patterns, random designs, something representative or abstract.
