Violet Vixen

A documentary that follows Leo, an 11 year old boy who identifies with female traits and who lives out his true personality through his alter ego Violet Vixen. We see his relationship with his mother and the honesty and complexities of him being an outgoing personality, versus the bullying he's subjected to for falling outside of the stereotypical gender role. He then meets one of his idols, someone he can relate to and aspire to emulate, Courtney Act, a renowned drag queen. Courtney gives him some guidance to help him along his journey. This film is a celebration of acceptance in an ever-changing society.
