VIRTUOSO

VIRTUOSO is a short horror film. A delicious reimagining of the competitive and claustrophobic world of classical music. We are currently fundraising to make the film at www.kickstarter.com/projects/virtuosofilm/virtuoso Locked in a vicious power struggle with her teacher Jasper, Josephine is forced into a bloody fight for artistic notoriety. Backstage in a glorious, decaying concert hall, Josephine sits at her piano. Her hands dance joyfully across the black and white keys as her mentor, Jasper, sits and observes. He takes Josephine’s hand, and paints each of her nails a deep, bloody red. Like a fine artist at his easel, each finger is flawlessly finished. But as Josephine’s concert approaches and she desperately tries to perfect her opening piece, something dark and sinister is brewing behind the scenes.
