Volume was a bi-annual printed and digital publication that featured work by thousands of creative individuals from across the world. Volume published ten printed issues between 2007 and 2013. I co-founded the 300 page magazine with Kay Wrate, Kate Abbott and Georgia Broaders. The concept was to publish work by budding artists to help build portfolios and encourage creativity. Volume consisted of three parts: Music, Fashion and Creative & Writing, the latter made up of art, photography, poetry and short stories. We featured artists of all kinds who we believed in. In May 2007 we held a packed out launch party at The Old Queen’s Head on Essex Road in London and invited all of our contributors. From then on we threw a launch party for every magazine we released at various London venues including AKA Bar, The Alibi, The Macbeth and The Paradise by way of Kensal Green. Over the years we featured many young stars who went on to global fame.
